Destiny 2: The Final Shape Trailer Delves Inside the Traveler, Teases Allies Joining the Battle

A freshly released trailer for Destiny 2: The Final Shape reveals an intriguing twist with the character Cayde-6, voiced by Nathan Fillion. Awakening within the Traveler, Cayde-6 realizes he is not in an afterlife but rather in a realm where The Witness is causing havoc and degradation from the inside.

This new predicament calls upon the Guardians to step up and confront The Witness. They will not have to face this threat alone, however—figures such as Mithrax, Savathun, and Empress Caiatl appear in the trailer hinting at their support against The Witness.

The threat scene in The Final Shape is intense, featuring enemies such as The Dread, which includes airborne assailants and warriors using powers like Strand and Stasis. A classic adversary, the Darkblade, is seen once again, suggesting a significant role in this finale.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is set to launch on June 4th, available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Gamers will have a three-day advantage to gather their strengths before the new raid becomes available on June 7th, where they'll face the ultimate challenge against The Witness.
