During a conversation with ComicBook on the red carpet for her latest Netflix project, The Union, Berry shared her enthusiasm for stepping back into the shoes of the mutant character, but mentioned that she simply hadn’t been approached for the opportunity. She recounted a moment with Blake Lively at a Marc Jacobs fashion event when Lively asked if Berry would consider being in her husband's film as Storm. Berry replied positively, stating she would be interested if he reached out, though that invitation never materialized.

This could suggest that Marvel Studios might have bigger and better plans for Berry's version of Storm that places her beyond the perception of simply being a remnant of a past era.
